Statement
Hellmedia was founded by S. Bradley Askew in May 2001 as a devil’s playground for ideas—an evolving laboratory for visual experimentation rather than a conventional portfolio.
Throughout the early 2000s, Hellmedia circulated within the emerging digital-design community through interactive work, design forums, creative presentations, and publications before gradually disappearing into obscurity.
Hellmedia became the birthplace of Graphic Violence, a visual philosophy rooted in provocation and the collision of type, image, and motion. That work continues today.
